Abdominoplasty is an outpatient procedure which improves the contour and appearance of the abdomen. It contours or reshapes the underlying muscle framework and removes excess fat and loose skin. Mini-abdominoplasty is an option for women who meet specific criteria. Insurance does not cover these procedures

A BOTOX® Cosmetic treatment is a simple, non-surgical procedure that smoothes the deep, persistent lines between your brows that developed over time. One ten-minute treatment - a few tiny injections - relaxes the muscles that cause those lines to form and keeps them relaxed for up to four months. The BOTOX® Cosmetic treatment has been widely tested and it’s now approved by the FDA. All of our treatments are performed by Dr. Hammond himself.

CosmoDerm™ and CosmoPlast™ Collagen Treatment
Collagen is injected below the surface of the skin filling in unwanted lines and wrinkles and adding definition to the lip border. Treatment results are immediate and typically last 3-6 months depending on the area being treated. All of are treatments are performed By Dr. Hammond himself.

Women with small breasts who desire a more prominent bust-line can have the size of their breasts increased by inserting implants. There are many different types of implants available and recent design improvements have enhanced results while decreasing complications. Several different types of incisions can be used to hide the scar including under the breast, in the armpit, or around the nipple. It is an outpatient procedure and requires only a limited time away from work. Insurance does not cover this procedure.

The breasts naturally begin to sag with aging and bearing children. But, a more youthful bust-line can be restored with a breast lifting procedure. In this operation, the nipple is raised and the breast is reshaped to give a more youthful and normal appearance.

Sometimes this requires the use of a breast implant to restore breast volume that’s lost after pregnancy. The procedure can be performed as an outpatient surgery and involves only a limited time off from work. Again, Dr. Hammond offers his short scar technique to limit scaring and improve the aesthetic appearance of the breast. Insurance generally does not cover this procedure.

The results of breast reconstruction have improved remarkably over the past ten years. Many types of procedures are now available for reconstructing the breast after a complete or partial mastectomy. Each procedure is associated with specific potential complications and it is here where careful patient evaluation is necessary to choose the "right" procedure for the individual patient., Breast Reconstruction requires up to seven days of hospital stay. Postoperative recovery generally takes 3-8 weeks. Insurance usually covers breast reconstruction procedures.

There are two types of breast revisions:

  • Secondary Breast Surgery

  • Congenital Breast Surgery.
  • For additional information about these procedures, visit the Breast Reconstruction section of this website.

Male breast enlargement, or gynecomastia, is a normal finding during puberty. In a small percentage of teenage boys, enlargement persists causing emotional and psychological difficulty. Surgery to correct this condition is possible and is generally covered by insurance. It’s an outpatient procedure which restores the normal male contour to the chest wall and results in a dramatic improvement in social and psychological well-being.

Liposuction is an outpatient procedure which removes excess fat deposits that cause localized bulges in various areas of the body. Through the use of various techniques, the body can be contoured by removing bulges to blend body outlines more aesthetically. Insurance does not cover this procedure.

Many women develop large breasts that are out of proportion to their body size after puberty or pregnancy. These women can have symptoms that include neck and back pain, rash, painful bra strap marks, difficulty fitting into clothes, tingling in the hands, and, in younger girls, difficulty adjusting socially. In these women, the breast can be reduced to a more normal size with complete relief of these symptoms. Dr. Hammond has developed a short scar technique that reduces the amount of scarring and greatly improves the post-operative aesthetics of the breasts. Insurance typically covers this procedure.
